We are seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our processing facility based at the A303 site near Andover.
The site imports incinerated bottom ash from various Energy from Waste (EfW) facilities around the UK converting it into recycled metal and a secondary aggregate for construction projects. The role entails operating the Tractor and Bowser to add water to the haul roads and stockyard areas, as well as assisting in washing down the plant and other areas keeping the site clean, tidy and dust free.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Operate the Tractor and Bowser
- Meet operational KPI’s
- Carry out health and safety inspections
- Report defects and manage small maintenance duties
- Follow defined procedures and safe systems of work
- Support all operational activities on site as instructed by management
Candidate requirements:
- Experience of operating a Tractor and Trailer
- Strong teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
Preferred but not essential requirements:
- Qualification in Tractor operations
- Licence to operate other mobile plant
