Raymond Brown Group has a vacancy for a fixed term Senior HR Advisor (part time) to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will provide support to the business to ensure employee relation issues are effectively managed and resolved. Also providing an effective employee resourcing service and administration support to the Group.
This role is busy and varied, requiring strong generalist HR knowledge (from any sector); the ability to interpret and apply policy and employment law with commerciality; and exceptional communication skills. The Senior HR Advisor reports into the Chief Operating Officer and provides support across the whole Group.
Providing HR guidance to employees and managers as well as advising on employment legislation and best practice. Staying up to date and ensuring all HR policies are legally compliant.
- Supporting managers with all recruitment requirements, including writing job descriptions, preparing offer packs, carrying out pre-employment checks and onboarding process. As well as keeping positive working relationships with specialist recruiters.
- Managing the full employee life cycle and maintaining personnel files.
The ideal candidate will require strong HR knowledge and generalist experience, currently working in a Senior HR Advisor capacity or high-level Advisor role.
- The preferred candidate will be CIPD qualified (level 5) and will feel confident in guiding senior management on all HR related matters.
- The ideal candidate will have a background for a small business ideally in a standalone capacity.
The position is part time, minimum of 20 hours per week, hours/days are flexible to suit the successful candidate. The role is to cover an employee due to go on maternity leave and will be for a period of 11-12 months.
