Steve oversees all ongoing business operations across Fortis IBA and ensures the delivery of key objectives.
Steve joined the Raymond Brown Group in 2001 to lead the combined aggregates and waste businesses, before becoming Managing Director of Raymond Brown Waste Solutions in 2013 to concentrate on the new skip waste business. In 2016 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Raymond Brown and Fortis and sits on the board.
Steve has over 25 years extensive experience in the recycling and quarrying industries, having worked for both Hanson and SITA before joining Raymond Brown.
Lee is Business Development Director and a founder member and Treasurer of MIBAAA (Manufacturers of IBA Aggregates Association. He directs and controls all operations and gives strategic guidance and direction to ensure that we achieve our mission and objectives.
Lee has over 25 years technical and commercial experience in mineral processing and 10 years IBA experience. He is instrumental in process design, efficiency and development and also drives all commercial activities. He is accountable for all contracts and key client relationships and strives to be the partner of choice.
Tim joined Fortis in 2018 as Senior Hydrogeologist. He is a geoscientist with 15 years’ experience and is a fellow of the Geological Society of London. After completing a Hydrogeology MSc he has specialised in groundwater quality risk assessment and worked for the last 8 years in waste management, protecting the environment from the impact of closed landfill sites.
Tim’s role is to ensure that every project IBA aggregate is supplied to is suitable for its use and that Fortis can maintain the highest environmental standards. He works with researchers, regulators and other stakeholders to develop IBAA understanding, assessment processes and regulation.
Martyn has over 15 years experience of working within the recycling and mineral processing industries. He oversees the operational teams within Fortis and holds responsibility for managing the processing whilst delivering full compliance to health, safety, environmental and quality legislation, whilst ensuring production and recovery targets are met. Martyn is continually looking to develop the existing IBA facilities, as well as any new opportunities for Fortis.
